YouTube Now Serving Videos to 1 Billion People

This just adds steps to YouTube's growing empire since it has been lunched in 2005. YouTube has become one of today's most influential forces in media. Google bought YouTube for $1.76 billion in 2006. Since then the video views have sky rocketed. In 2012 Google selected 96 channels with $100 million in funding to help the channels accelerate their growth, they also partnered with big Hollywood producers and directors.
